LEWIS

PROJECT LEWIS

Would you choose to love your home or leave it? This family of four with two young children decided against relocating and instead asked us to transform their existing space into a forever home. To make their dream a reality we renovated the main level which included building a new addition at the front of the house which allowed for an improved kitchen layout, added butler pantries and a large dining area complete with a built-in glass wine rack!

Wide plank, custom-engineered hardwood flooring and tile laid in a delicate herringbone pattern were critical to ensuring a consistent flow throughout the massive kitchen, laundry room and dual butler's pantry.

The porcelain backsplash in the kitchen and the laundry room amplify the cohesion in this design while clean lines and crisp white tones give the entire space a new, modern look and feel. The stacked washer and dryer are encased by custom cabinetry and exquisite millwork which are continued in the charming and spacious bathroom. These meticulous finishes purposefully accentuate the fine details inherent throughout the entire main level.

Custom shower glass for the neo-angle shower and modern porcelain tile in a neutral colour with subtle accent tiles in the shower combined to deliver an elegant, yet balanced result. Luxurious details were intentionally added throughout the space including a custom, quartz waterfall bench and a custom rain head shower fixture, both of which were carefully chosen to complement the vanity fixture. The matching vanity top and shower jambs were purposefully coordinated to add cohesion and charm.

PROJECT BUTTER

Our clients wanted us to reconfigure their ensuite to create a more functional space that could accommodate a larger walk-in shower and vanity. To achieve this goal our talented team looked at the space and suggested innovative materials and features that would incorporate the existing natural light to give the room a spacious feel.

SIOUX

PROJECT SIOUX

This recently married couple enlisted our team to turn their newly purchased property into a home with character that reflected their unique personalities and accommodated their plans for a growing family. We set straight to work, renovating the entire home including both the main floor and upper level. Our structural engineer and in-house designer were meticulous in the planning phase, working carefully to convert this home into an open, modern urban retreat.

The kitchen is now the perfect place to release their inner chef, with built-in wall ovens, a secondary sous sink, stunning quartz countertops and custom cabinetry designed with elegance and functionality in mind. The poplar trim work and ¾" solid hardwood floors used throughout the home ensure continuity of the modern, opulent design.

The kitchen's simplistically modern design included a beautiful porcelain backsplash as well as ¾" solid hardwood floors, wainscoting, and premium grade cabinetry throughout. We worked closely with the homeowners to ensure their every need was anticipated, including a water filtration system, garburator and handy faucet above the stove to make pot filling a breeze.

PROJECT LOVETT

This busy family of four with two young children was looking to design and renovate their home, which they originally bought as an investment property. Our design team put great thought into how to balance the need for a functional living space with the goal of maximizing their investment when it came time to sell. Custom, high-quality features achieved this goal. Almost everything in this home is custom-built, from the fireplace with matching built-in bookend cabinets to the custom piano-style staircase and railings, complete with a tailored staircase runner.

The formal shaker columns create openness throughout the main level while ensuring a functional separation between the sleek, modern kitchen, gorgeous dining room and endearing living room.

A deep, rich custom engineered hardwood installed throughout the home unifies the bedrooms and main level, while the flooring in the mudroom and bathrooms are elegant and practical for the needs of a busy family.

The mudroom extends the sleek, modern elements of the kitchen, replicating the pristine, white subway tile backsplash while adding a pop of fun colour to the exquisitely crafted cabinetry. In the end, this renovation exceeded the family's expectations, and we turned a house they planned to sell into a home they chose to keep for themselves.

PROJECT RAVENBURY

This main bath’s contemporary, clean lines are effortlessly complimented by the simple tones of white and grey, accentuated perfectly by the contrast of matte black fixtures. The beautifully paired custom grey shaker cabinets are not only aesthetically beautiful but are designed with full function optimization. Equipped with nine dovetail soft close drawers, two tall linen towers with copious amount of shelving storage, this vanity is sure to keep your items organized and your counters looking sleek.

Keeping with the simplistic design, the custom wainscot paneled feature wall adds a subtle elegance to the space. Utilizing a soft, bright paint colour to match the adjacent walls, this paneling creates a depth and texture to the room without being overbearing. The classic lines work beautifully behind the gorgeous beveled oval mirrors and black glass sconce lighting fixtures.

The striking combination of white subway tile, carrara and glass in the shower with the juxtaposition of black shower fixtures exudes a fresh sophistication to the space. Again, playing on subtle details utilizing the hexagon shape tile for the shower floor accentuates the classic carrara in a modern manner while keeping timeless finishes. Continuing the seamless relationship between function and beauty in this main bath, the shower is furnished with not only a niche but a bench for comfort as well. The built-in nook next to the shower with custom rustic wood floating shelves adds the final element of maximizing usefulness of every part of this space. The pleasant surprise of an organic warm wood finish tied in with the cool tones and textures completes this design.
